Escape to Chacala Bay

Chacala is the most pristine and pictureque bay on the lush coastline known as Rivieria Nayarit, with golden sand, coconut trees, and warm ocean waters year-round. A small fishing village home to approximately 400 residents, Chacala means “where there are shrimp” in Náhuatl and is one of the jewels of Mexico’s Pacific Coast. It has easy access to Puerto Vallarta International Airport, yet feels worlds apart from the big tourist developments.

Our Home for the Week: Mar de Jade Retreat Center

Nestled between tropical jungle mountainside and the clear ocean waters of Chacala Bay, Mar de Jade Retreat Center is a serene refuge for travelers on the healing journey. Watch this video to get a taste of the Mar de Jade experience.

In addition to the natural beauty of the surrounding area, The Center is fully equipped with everything we need for our retreat:

  • Warm hardwood-floored studios bathed in sunlight and stocked with props, perfect for our Nia Dance and Yoga practice.
  • Full-service spa with swimming and wading pools, jacuzzi, sauna, and options for massage and other healing treatments.
  • El Rancho, the 18-acre sustainable organic farm that provides the produce for our 3 delicious buffet-style meals per day.
  • Walking and hiking trails on the grounds of the Center for our exploration in nature.
  • Inviting, warmly-decorated rooms with views of the ocean and tropical jungle.

Meet Your Hosts

Bethamie Wyatt

Bethamie Wyatt (she/her) has spent more than 20 years developing and refining her craft as a multi-modality facilitator of healing. She is a Nia Technique Brown Belt instructor, Reiki Master and Emotion Code Practitioner. Her path into the healing arts was born out of her desire to feel more present, embodied, and connected to her purpose. Finding body-based practices like dance and yoga brought her back into her body and aligned her with a mission to assist others on their own inward journeys. As the founder of Bmoved Healing Therapies, she places a strong emphasis on being present and building a rapport with those she works with. She is committed to daily practices and rituals which enhance her spiritual and intuitive capacities. This consistent attunement with Spirit positions her to be of service in the most effective way, as she guides others in perceiving and releasing deeply held traumas and opening their lives to joy, balance, and new possibilities. Bethamie is excited about sharing the healing and transformational experience of dance and movement at the Together We Flow Retreat!
